I guess now is the time we get to practice our sleep deprivation exercises. I don't recall reading that in the manual.
Every morning, the baby (fetus/future person/avocado/whatever you want to call it right now) body checks/kicks/wiggles my wife awake between 4:30 or 5:00. That's probably not the most pleasant way to wake up, especially if the baby manages to boot her in the bladder.

At the 16 week appointment this past Friday, I learned that besides other neat things like the online nursery for grandparents, AAMC uses the new 3d Ultrasound imaging for the 20 week ultrasound.
I'm a big fan of 3d work and use Rhino 3d, 3d Studio Max and other programs to do my own 3d design and tinkering, so this is pretty exciting stuff.
I don't suppose they'll send me a STL, DXF, or poi...

Wednesday started week 16 of the pregnancy. Melissa's definitely showing a bit, but now that the house has been cleaned back up, the emotions are oddly back under control ;-) She's back to feeling a bit ill in the evenings though. How anyone could say they enjoy pregnancy is beyond my male understanding.
Another month or so and I'll have to start carrying around a club to beat away all the wei...

Wednesday August 17 started week 15 of pregnancy. Melissa is feeling better (no more nausea), but is still very tired all day. I've also noticed a definite change in mood and emotions. Then again, that could just be because my remodeling efforts have made an enormous mess of the house, and I've been a bit of a cad about it :)
