Mid-Atlantic Influential Architects

Pete Brown - 30 January 2008

I'm honored and pleased that three of us from Applied Information Sciences (Vishwas Lele, Frank La Vigne and me) have been chosen by Dr Z from Microsoft to be members of the inaugural group of Mid-Atlantic Influential Architects.

There are a lot of impressive minds in that group, many of which I've run into before or have worked with directly - proving once again that despite its population, the DC Metro area is truly a small world. I'm humbled and honored to be included in the same group and I look forward to working with these folks.

At the end of the inaugural meeting in the Microsoft Reston MTC, we had a group photo taken. Thanks to Z for posting it. That's Z in the front with the blue shirt. The gentleman all in black on the right is Dave Chappell who spoke at our meeting. Dave did a quick and interesting presentation on S+S (Software + Services) and the future of cloud platform development.
