Have You Visited the Silverlight Showcase Lately?

Pete Brown - 30 January 2008

The Silverlight Showcase is a great site for sampling what folks are doing in the current production release of Silverlight. If you haven't been there in a while, you might be surprised at the number of attractive, compelling Silverlight 1.0 applications that are out there.

The showcase has certainly grown from the days of "silverlight.net/fox" :)

But there are some apps there that are "cheating". For instance, there's an SL app there showing a 3D figure dancing on the screen. And the 3D image is really a pre-recorded WMV.

So take the showcase with a grain of salt.

Not sure what you're saying mdong. I know it has been running for a while. If, however, you haven't looked at it in a bit, you might be surprised by the number and variety of applications in there - even since it was redone.
