Recycling Content from Other Blog Entries and Presenting as Your Own

Pete Brown - 23 January 2007

You have to love people who snag your content and republish it as their own. I ran into it a lot with my naming conventions page, but just recently, I ran into it with this blog post. He didn't even both to host the images himself, or better yet, do the work to create his own images. I archived his page as MHT in case it changes. You can find the MHT here.

Here's the article he snagged and reworded.

The article's not earth-shattering or anything, so it's not a huge deal. The right thing would have been to publish a "look what I found" blog instead of a copy and paste [^o)]

I could be mean and change the image into something nasty, but I won't bother :)
